Berfin Ekmez is an associate at Gide's Corporate and M&A team in İstanbul. She focuses her practice on mergers, acquisitions, general corporate matters, competition and insurance.

She has expertise in conducting due diligence exercises, reviewing and drafting contracts, providing legal assistance on their daily operations. She provides domestic and foreign companies with commercial advice on the full spectrum of governance and regulatory matters. Berfin practices competition law and insurance law, offering legal guidance on with Turkish competition and insurance regulations.

Berfin has recently worked on the establishment of joint control over Good Job Games Bilişim Yazılım ve Pazarlama A.Ş. by MV Management XVI L.L.C. together with Nazif İlker Ilıcalı, advised Faes Farma S.A. on its acquisition of sole control of SIFI S.p.A., and advised MNK International on the acquisition of a new broker in Türkiye.

Berfin is a graduate of Koç University Law School and has been a registered lawyer at the Istanbul Bar since 2025.
